Nate Haywood is pleased to take over the podium as the conductor of Chorus North Shore HONOR YOUTH CHOIR (HYC).
After a Covid hiatus of 2 years, Mr. Haywood will oversee the rebuilding of HYC and prepare them for their performances with Chorus North Shore and their concert at Shalin Liu.
In addition to working with the students and families of HYC, Mr. Haywood is a music and theater educator at the Landmark School, Pride’s Crossing, as well as the Director of Music at the Messiah Baptist Church. He is also Co-Director of Summer Meals Program Camp and performs as a Dancer, Emcee and DJ for Siagel Productions, Inc.
Mr. Haywood studied Music Education and voice at Gordon College and earned a Master of Music Education from Anderson University. He has directed numerous student musicals and has performed in many theater productions throughout New England. His rich, classically trained baritone voice and his energetic, caring personality will exciting addition to our musical family.
