Greetings Chorus North Shore Singers:
Just a few quick reminders
This Monday 9/9 starts our new season!
Since we are now starting rehearsals at 7:00 p.m. for this first rehearsal only, please come between 6:15 pm – 6:50 pm to pay dues and/or pick up music, so we can start rehearsal on time.
Don’t forget – stop at the registration table and check off the attendance sheet before finding a seat and to wear your name tag. Sign up at the registration table to have a name tag made if you need one. Nametags will be available at the registration table for new members.
For those who requested Bernstein CD’s, they will be available at the registration table – $20 donation. Please bring cash or check in exact amount.
Date Change
Due to a scheduling conflict, the Messiah orchestra rehearsal date will move from Wed 12/4 to Tues 12/3 the rest of the week remains the same
12/2 -7pm Rehearsal, Chorus Room
12/3 – 7pm Orchestra rehearsal, IHS location TBA
12/5 – 7pm Dress rehearsal at Our Lady of Hope
12/7- 6pm on risers – concert at 7:00 OLH
12/8 – 2pm on risers- concert at 3:00 OLH
Volunteer Opportunities
As we have all heard so many times, it takes a village and that holds true for the Chorus North Shore.
We are seeking singers, family members and CNS Friends who would like to volunteer on one of this year’s many CNS committees or projects.
Opportunities include:
Singers’ Social Activity – plan one fun activity each season for the group
Marketing materials – help to design and update sponsorship and annual appeal brochures
Photo Library project – update our available photo library with some eye-catching planned and candid pixs of the choir. Photos would be used on our webpage, Facebook page, and other publicity venues. Any singers or family members that are aspiring photographers out there?
Concert Day Details – Do you have a family member or a friend interested in helping to manage the logistics (ushers, ticket tables etc.) that make concert days run smoothly allowing our singers to concentrate on preparing to sing?
